Very2 long time...

Mmg dah lama sgt rasanya Luna x update blog nie..masa x mengizinkan untuk upload2 gambar2 masakan baru..At the moment bisness Luna terpaksa diberhentikan sbbnya anak2 lebih memerlukan Luna on the weekend..x sanggup rasanya dgr mereka mengeluh dah lama x makan masakan mama. Setiap kali Luna berniaga hari Sabtu dan Ahad, Luna akan hantar anak2 pergi ke rumah MIL..and mmg Luna x masak sbb keletihan menyediakan bubur2...bisnes kencang tapi lebih prihatin pada anak2...almaklumlah sebagai wanita yg bekerja, Sabtu dan Ahad adalah hari saya bermanja2 dan bermesra2 dgn mereka, dan yg pasti mereka tertunggu2 hidangan istimewa saya utk mereka..So skrg Luna sedang memikirkan cara alternatif untuk Luna meneruskan perniagaan Luna..minat tu dh sebati dlm diri..cuma Luna kena perlu beri keseimbangan antara keluarga dan minat. Luna amek keputusan untuk ambil tempahan bubur untuk majlis2 kecil seperti open house, birthday party, majlis kesyukuran or apa saja majlis yg mahukan bubur disediakan sebagai pencuci mulut. InsyaAllah tidak membebankan sgt sbb hanya perlu sediakan dan tak perlu satu hari suntuk meniaga di gerai. Pada sesiapa yg nak order, bolela email sy lollipopgul@yahoo.com.my.

Tips for baking cakes!!

 Below are a few key things that every novice baker should know:
§             Preheating the oven IS important
§             Knowing the difference between a teaspoon and a tablespoon and a cup can make or break a recipe.
§             If you forget to pretreat your pan with butter and flour that cake isn’t going to resemble a cake when you try to remove it from the pan.
§             If you use an 8 inch round cake pan instead of a nine inch round cake pan the cake is un-doubtly going to over flow.*
§             If your oven is too hot and you think it will just take less time to cook you are wrong.
§             Egg shells are not a fun surprise ingredient. In anything. Ever.
§             If a recipe calls for baking powder don’t think that using baking soda will be a good substitute.
§             Follow your recipe exactly. Baking is a science and until you understand ratios don’t mess with them.
§             Placement of the racks in the oven is an important but sometimes (in my case) over looked step
§             If you really love baking and don’t give up you will be a good baker.

Case in point:

Tips!

  • When they say about "seasoning" it means "salt and black pepper".  U can use this as a basic for your chicken, beef, lamb or even the fish.
  • U know what, to make the lamb, chicken or beef more tenderly and juicy, you can use a soda drink like a coke, pepsi or strawberry when you marinated them.  You can use Esprit too!! hehe..
  • parsley and coriander are most similar.  Choose the right one for your soup. 
  • Boiled your asparagus in hot water with salt and 1 teaspoon oil.  
  • If you like to cook, buy few magazines and cooking books for your reference.  Theres a lot of info, tips, recipes and idea you can use and share.
